BridgeTech SupportWhere tech support feels personal
FAQ

Simple answers to common questions.

If you do not see your question here, that is normal. A short description is enough to get started, and we will help sort out the next step.

How does the process work?

You describe what is happening and what you want to accomplish. We ask a few questions, confirm scope and pricing before billable work begins, then explain what changed in plain language when the work is finished.

Do I need to know technical terms?

No. A simple description is enough. You can say things like "my Wi-Fi keeps dropping," "my printer will not connect," or "my email is not working." We will translate the technical parts into clear next steps.

Do you offer remote and on-site support?

Yes. If it can be handled remotely, we keep it efficient. If it needs hands-on work, we schedule an on-site visit. Some issues may require both.

How does your pricing work?

Pricing depends on whether the request is home support, business support, remote, on-site, or project-based. Scope and pricing are confirmed before billable work begins.

Home remote support$50/hr
Home on-site support$70/hr
Business remote support$85/hr
Business on-site support$105/hr

Minimums, travel, hardware, software, after-hours work, and larger projects may be quoted separately.

Can you help both homes and small businesses?

Yes. We support home users, home offices, and small businesses. The request form helps us understand which type of support you need.

What if something is urgent?

Mention it in the request form or call us. We will tell you what is realistic and the best way to move forward. Unless a separate agreement says otherwise, emergency or after-hours response is not guaranteed.

Should I send passwords or private account codes?

No. Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or private account codes through the website form or ordinary email. If access is needed, we will provide safer instructions.

Can every issue be fixed?

Not always. Some problems depend on damaged hardware, vendor outages, internet provider issues, expired software, account restrictions, or third-party systems. We will be clear about what we can control and when another vendor or specialist may be needed.

Where are you located?

BridgeTech Support is based in Staten Island and serves NYC and nearby areas. Remote support may be available when appropriate.
